http://philmfotos.tumblr.com/press. Is a most impressive site with single shots from about 150 films all made in New York. A really splendid way of superimposing stills over the real location.


The perpetrator is Christopher Moloney, a journalist. Much more about him we don’t know, but we do know that he has a left hand, with a thumb, because it appears in many of his shots holding up a b&w still in front of, and coinciding and corresponding with, the actual film location. An intriguing and novel approach to our favorite subject, and much more difficult than it first appears
